150th Anniversary - Swiss Watchmaker

To celebrate its 150th anniversary, a renowned Swiss watchmaker launched an illustration competition to curate a book.
Louis Otis participated with his illustrations, which opened different chapters on the components of the watch: the clockface and the clock hands (needles), tools for mankind to make sense of our world in time and space, and the relationship with the celestial bodies of our cosmo.

Although Louis wasn't chosen for this book, we loved the illustrations he came up with and wanted to share them with you!

Louis Otis

Louis Otis is an illustrator and animator who draws what makes him laugh. His anthropological approach, although naive, draws his inspiration from the comic representation of the human body, of sexuality, the age of the Internet and the digitalization of our lives. He thus calls on his audience to question the meaning of his images, whether there is one or not.
